The Office of Campus Ministries creates opportunities for students to engage in meaningful Christian worship, discipleship, and spiritual formation. The Campus Ministries Graduate Assistant supports the office’s goals by equipping and mentoring student leaders engaged in peer-to-peer discipleship ministries, overseeing the Resident Chaplain program in conjunction with Residence Life, and collaborating with the campus pastors in planning and hosting chapel services and small group opportunities.
This is a two-year, 20 hours/week, appointment not to exceed 800 hours/year. Commitment runs from approximately August 1st – May 30th each of the two years. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required; acceptance into one of the graduate degrees (Master of Arts in Higher Education Leadership or the Master of Arts in Intercollegiate Athletic Leadership) at Messiah University is required. Special working conditions: Occasional weekend and evening hours as priorities demand. Christian faith commitment required.
