The Traveling Recruiter will spend the majority of time traveling to college fairs, high schools, and meeting with prospective students at events off-campus during the fall semester. The Recruiter will share the Messiah University story with prospective students and their families with the goal to grow a strong inquiry pool. When not traveling, this position will support the admissions team administratively (information sessions during visits, event days, student phoning, special projects, etc.). This is a two year appointment not to exceed 800 hours a year. Hours will be irregular based on travel during the week (not to exceed 39 hours per week in the fall, balance of hours will be completed in the spring).
Commitment runs from approximately August 1st – May 30th each of the two years. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required; acceptance into one of the graduate degrees (Master of Arts in Higher Education Leadership or the Master of Arts in Intercollegiate Athletic Leadership) at Messiah University is required. Christian faith commitment required.
